![]() Each rifle only needs 3 pumps max to accurately knock down steel silhouettes at 10 meters The most helpful critical review0 of 4 people found the following review helpful: I bet the neighbors don't know I'm outside shooting at all - except for the 'ping' of the steel silhouettes! The Legacy 1000 is indeed more powerful, but in my case that is not a real advantage since I use my rifles for target shooting/plinking only. 6) Pumping the 880 is a quiet process, whereas the Legacy 1000 creates a loud slapping sound with every pump. 5) Pumping the 880 requires much less effort. 4) The bolt on the 880 is MUCH easier to cycle. 3) Front sights are fiber optic on both rifles, but the Daisy's are smaller, which allows for more precision. ![]() 2) Trigger pull on the 880 is vastly superior - not long and creepy at all. What others should know: I purchased a Crosman Legacy 1000 this spring and have enjoyed shooting it so far, but this 880 is superior in many ways: 1) My 880 is more accurate than my Legacy 1000 with open sights (I shoot lead pellets only).
